Title I

parent
Title I is a federal program that allocates funds to schools to meet the educational needs of students in California.  Our school and district recognize that parents are a child's first teacher and should have an opportunity to become involved in their child's education.

The School-Parent Compact and Parent and Family Engagement Policy are written policies jointly developed with parents to outline parent involvement opportunities and responsibilities.

The School-Parent Compact outlines how parents, school staff, and students share responsibility for ensuring improved student achievement.

The Parent and Family Engagement Policy outlines parent rights under the Title I program.
